Today, my son (who’s in 2nd grade) was learning about plurals.

As I went through his backpack this afternoon, I found a worksheet that he’d done in school. The exercise had him (and his class) writing the singular form of a word, then the plural. At the bottom of the page, there was a section entitled “On Your Own”, in which they were told to write other words that showed more than one.

My boy’s choices?

Foes. Robots. Pirits.
